Zardari 'cancels' UK visit after Cameron's hostile remarks

    (ANI)

Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has postponed his visit to the United Kingdom following British Prime Minister David Cameron's hostile remarks against Pakistan.

Zardari will now be going on a three-day visit to France, starting from August 1.

Foreign Office spokesman Abdul Basit however said that the programme of the President's visit to the UK is being finalized, and denied that the visit has been cancelled.

He said that the dates would be announced at an appropriate time, The Daily Times reports.

Earlier, on Thursday, Cameron defended his comments on Pakistan, and said: "I think it's important, as I say, to speak frankly about these things to countries that are your friends."

When asked whether he regretted damaging relations with Pakistan ahead of Zardari's visit, he said: "I don't accept that they have been damaged... I look forward to discussing these and other issues (with Zardari)." (ANI)

Zardari 'cancels' UK visit after Cameron's hostile remarks

Who wanted him to visit London? In fact, he was not wanted there. Luckily, he can still visit France.. if no faux pas occur. No Pakistani is seen with respect any where in the world and the height of shamelessness is that they are eager to abandon there country on any given opportunity. How come a Paki President visits China five times in short span of two years?(as if there is no other place left where they will be welcomed)

Beta! Please understand me. - I am not allowed to do as I wish. I am surrounded 24 hrs. by the PakiISI and U.S. CIA. I must obey their command. At times I do the things which are completely abnormal - PakiISI - force me to drink opium in order to have their ways. - Few months ago, I was almost converted into Hinduism and even ask for a political asylum in India. Soon PakiISI found out, I got 20 lashes (I was almost dead). They raped my daughter and girl friends. ISI tried to insert - mircho da danda - into my gaand.
